RELATIONSHIP COACHING

How It Works

As with most things in my life, I’m going to take a nerdy approach to your growth by sending you on quests to help with your journey in Ethical Non-Monogamy. Before I send you on these quests, I’m going to share tools and different perspectives that will give you the best chance at completing your quests successfully.

Steps:

  • Consultation – We connect for a short time and talk about what you have going on and make sure it will be a good fit for both us.
  • First Session – We will spend the whole first session getting to know each other and setting expectations for how to interact. I will try to understand who you are and how you best interact with the world. Then we will talk about goals and figure out how to approach those together. We will determine a primary quest for you and what side quests we can start with.
  • Subsequent Sessions – Each session we will talk about your quests (tasks) and your completion of these quests. We will talk about how you struggled and what your successes were.

Expectations

Here is what you can expect from me:

  • Rawness –  We are all humans trying to navigate this crazy world.  I like to keep things real and will always be forward and transparent with you.
  • Difficult Quests – I’m going to challenge you and put you in some uncomfortable situations. Non-Monogamy is hard and doing the hard things is unavoidable.
  • Open mindedness – I live on the fringes of society myself, I will not judge you for being different.  In fact, I encourage people to be who they want to be as long as they aren’t hurting people in doing so.
  • Forwardness and compassion – I am compassionately honest. I’ll always be forward with you but in a compassionate way.
  • Listening – I can’t help you if I don’t listen.  I’ll always do my best to make you feel heard.
  • This is not therapy – This is not a replacement for licensed therapy. You will not get any diagnosis and just like therapy, I’m not going to make the hard decision for you.

Here is what I expect of you:

  • Progress –  I’m here to watch you grow. Although progress is never fully linear, I expect to see growth.
  • Self awareness – I need you to be willing to be self aware and really look at yourself.  It can be hard sometimes, but without self awareness everything else around you will be a greater challenge.
  • Honesty – I need you to always be honest with me about your wants and needs in your life and your relationships.  I can’t help you get there if you aren’t honest with me.
  • Self care – I’m going to need you to be kind to yourself.  This will be really important no matter what we’re working through.
  • Learn – If I could just download everything I’ve learned over the years into your brain I would.  We aren’t there yet so I’ll be asking you to consume other resources on your own time.

Pricing and Availability

All sessions will be scheduled evenings and/or weekends.

If the idea of a video session makes you anxious, we can start with texting. Inquire about pricing and how that works if that’s what is most comfortable for you on you journey.

I will be charging $320/month for 4 1hr sessions a month. You can also opt for 2 1hr sessions a month for $200.

Who Even Is The Polyamory Geek?

Hello! My name is Lucas and I discovered polyamory was a thing in 2014 and I have been evolving in my polyamory journey since then. Like most, I have made my share of mistakes and learned many lessons since I got started. As someone who is fascinated by psychology and human connection, polyamory became a special interest to me. I then started writing a blog in early 2020 about polyamory and relationships. Since then I have been getting more and more people reaching out for help. I’ve always been eager and happy to share the tools and lessons I’ve learned over the years. All of the happy feels from helping my friends have landed me here.

How Do I Get Started?
